Our USA organic smudge sticks are made from single cuttings of smudge, which means there is less loss and breakage of the leaves. They are hand-rolled and beautifully tied with natural thread (thread colour can vary). Their scent is even more intense than standard white sage and their colour can be more varied as a result of being a completely natural product.
Smudging is the ancient ceremony of burning revered plants and herbs in order to create a sacred smoke bath. It can be used for welcoming in the new day, cleansing the body, home or workplace from negative energies, for ceremonial occasions, and even sweat lodges. Smudging should be performed with reverence and respect allowing oneself to transcend beyond the physical in order to enhance an spiritual connection.
